A keyboard and computer or device screen is the only I/O interface that is almost everywhere available between the end user and a computer or device. The AXSionics Internet Passport uses the computer or device screen as the interface connector to receive strong encrypted messages. Therefore, there is virtually no need to invest in additional or special infrastructure or interface devices.
The AXSionics optical interface and protocol fully respects the end consumer's privacy protection rights by transmitting confidential third party account information on a secure encrypted channel established by the AXSionics infrastructure.
Other than with current and not secure transaction verification methods - like for example using SMS - a transaction verification message via the AXSionics authentication system is always secure and does not create any additional infrastructural-related costs to the end consumer.
